By Contributor Isabella Castillo

Texas Woman’s University (TWU) hosted its Dallas Leadership Luncheon on March 6, recognizing Nicole Small as the 2025 Virginia Chandler Dykes Leadership Award recipient.

A signature fundraising event for TWU, the luncheon supports graduate student scholarships while celebrating individuals who have made a profound impact on education and quality of life in the Dallas community. Luther King Capital Management served as the event’s presenting sponsor.

The event featured a moderated conversation between Nicole Small, CEO of LH Capital, Inc. and Lyda Hill Philanthropies, and education philanthropist Abby Williams, who, along with her husband Todd Williams, was the 2024 TWU Leadership Award recipient.

Since its inception in 2002, the luncheon has raised $2.42 million for graduate student scholarships. This year, $77,000 in scholarships were awarded to 32 graduate students selected as the 2025 class of Virginia Chandler Dykes Scholars.
