The Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) broke fundraising records during its fifth annual Mahjong for a Mission event on Feb. 8, raising more than $90,000 to provide vital support for Dallas’ abused children.

“Each year, this event grows in impact, and this year was no exception,” said DCAC President and CEO Irish Burch. “To see our community come together and raise an incredible $90,000 is truly inspiring. Every dollar directly helps children and families begin their healing journey. We are so grateful for our supporters, players, and sponsors who make this event such a success.”

More than 120 guests came together for a day of fun, fundraising, and philanthropy over mimosas and mahjong at the event, which was co-chaired by Kate Cutshall and Jane Wallingford.

The funds raised will ensure that DCAC can continue providing therapy, investigative support, and critical healing services to children in need.
