SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: NO ESCAPING THE EYE IN THE SKY
A motor vehicle stolen in Fort Worth and driven to Dallas took police on a chase and prompted the use of a police helicopter before it was recovered, and carjackers were arrested in the 6100 block of Tulip Lane on Jan. 23.

A trespass warning was issued at NorthPark Center.
Jan. 21
A criminal trespass warning was issued at a restaurant in The Plaza at Preston Center.
Jan. 22
A vehicle was taken without the owner’s consent in the 4200 block of Merrell Road.

Vandalism of property occurred in the 6700 block of Hilcrest Plaza Drive.
A driver hit a light post with his vehicle in the 7900 block of Park Lane.
Jan. 23
Theft of a motor vehicle occurred in Preston Center.
In an attempted motor vehicle theft, a suspect tried to physically remove a driver from her vehicle in the 6100 block of Tulip Lane.
A theft occurred at a retail store in the 8300 block of Westchester Drive.
Jan. 24
A motor vehicle was stolen from Preston Center.
A suspect damaged the door and steering column of a vehicle in the 7800 block of Park Lane.
A wallet was found in the 5700 block of Orchid Lane.
Vandalism of a vehicle occurred in the 4200 block of Manning Lane.

A firearm was stolen from an unlocked car parked at a restaurant in the 6800 block of West Northwest Highway.
