Passover In Poland

Cantor Vicky Glikin of Temple Emanu-El, a native of Ukraine, spent Passover in Warsaw, Poland this year, where she led Seder with and volunteered to help Ukrainian refugees.

While there, she led Seder at the Nozyk Synagogue, volunteered at the Warsaw train station to help refugees as they arrived, and more, and she detailed her experiences on Temple Emanu-El’s website.

“There’s constant need for volunteers who speak Russian and Ukrainian as the people keep arriving and need help figuring out next steps,” Glikin wrote.

Temple Emanu-El is also collecting donations amid the war and refugee crisis in Ukraine here.
