SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: CHRISTMAS CAME WITHOUT A PACKAGE

A porch pirate pilfered a package from a home in the 2900 block of Lovers Lane between 6:13 a.m. and 12:48 p.m. Dec. 23.

HIGHLAND PARK

21 Monday

Arrested at 4:13 p.m.: A 45 year old for a warrant in the 4700 block of Drexel Drive.

Arrested at 11:07 p.m.: A 24 year old accused of damage to town property, evading arrest or detention, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle at the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Wycliff Avenue.

A burglar got into a construction site in the 3600 block of Dartmouth Avenue and took a $2,000 set of cordless power tools, a $200 set of Dewalt work lights, a $50 laser level, and various hand tools in a bag worth $1,000.

How easy was it for a ne’er do well to get into a GMC Arcadia parked in the 4500 block of Livingston Avenue and take a pair of $100 Ralph Lauren sunglasses, a $400 pair of Michael Kors sunglasses, a $150 pair of Chloe turtle sunglasses, two pairs of socks, an Office Depot tax-exempt card, two Kroger gift cards, and a $40 White Rock Coffee gift card? The driver’s side door may have been left ajar.

UNIVERSITY PARK      

21 Monday

A wrongdoer stole a $2,500 Fendi piece, a $1,500 Chloe piece, a $1,100 Marc Jacobs, piece, a two $1,000 Tori Burch pieces, a $1,000 Louis Vuitton piece, a $500 pair of Gucci sunglasses, a $300 Prada wallet, and five credit cards from a home in the 3100 block of Hanover Street overnight before 9 a.m.

23 Wednesday

A crook used the information of a man from the 2900 block of Westminster Avenue. The incident was reported at 4:40 p.m.
