Seale the Real Deal at the Distinguished Speaker Luncheon

Park Cities Historic and Preservation Society will be hosting their Distinguished Speaker Luncheon at the Dallas Country Club on May 19 at noon.

This year’s speaker will feature Katherine Seale, architectural historian and preservationist. A native Texan, Seale graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Art history degree from the Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and a Master of Science in Architectural History from the University of Virginia.

Seale started her career in 2001 instructing city-wide surveys of Dallas neighborhoods that would help improve the community’s identity and characteristics. Stale served as the executive director of Preservation Dallas from 2007 to 2011. She is currently Mayor Rawlings’ appointment and chairman to the Dallas Landmarks Commission, as well as chairman to the Downtown Preservation Solutions Committee under the City Manager’s Office.
