The students of McCulloch Intermediate School and Highland Park Middle School ended their eighth annual Holiday Toy Drive on a good note, fulfilling more than 450 wishes this year.
Based off a wish list for local children in foster care, the MIS Service Leadership Group and the HPMS Student Council collected, labeled, and loaded the gifts for delivery.
The effort, which concluded on Dec. 10, benefited the Community Partners of Dallas. HPISD has a video on YouTube showing the students help load the toys onto the truck for delivery.
The third annual Toys for Tots drive, held by the University Park Elementary Student Council, collected more than 500 presents.
