Presbyterian Village North employees are embarking on the senior living community’s fall fitness challenge.
The month-long challenge comes to a close Oct. 30. Teams compete to earn the most points and win a Fitbit. Extra points can be earned doing the daily challenges: Muscle Monday, Try Something New Tuesday, Wellness Class Wednesday, Thirsty Thursday and Full Body Friday.
Employees log their activity, and if they exercise for 30 minutes five days a week they get a Be Well PC&S shirt, and teams who get 30 extra points from the daily challenges are entered in a drawing for one of the 16 Fitbits.
The challenge is meant to inspire healthy living habits as well as curb holiday weight gain.
