This year’s annual Children’s Cancer Fund Luncheon is set for April 17 at the Hilton Anatole’s Chantilly Ballroom. The event also has a fashion show presentation, and young Bennett Williams will be featured. He’s an acute lymphoblastic leukemia patient and pre-kindergarten student at Highland Park Presbyterian Day School.
Park Cities resident Kathleen Strand acts as committee co-chair for this year’s event. Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman will act as event chairmen.
Tickets start at $150, but table sponsorships are also available. Funding earned goes toward pediatric cancer research and treatment programs at Children’s Medical Center, benefiting children worldwide.
The celebrity VIP reception begins at 10 a.m., while the luncheon, fashion show, live auction, and raffle drawing start at 11:30 a.m.
