Thankfully, this has nothing to do with road construction in Uptown. Farm-to-Market 3699, a local Farmer’s Market offering this season’s freshest produce, organic meats, and artisan fare, will set up shop from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays this summer, beginning June 5.
The market, which will be located between Accents and Avalon Salon & Spa in the West Village, will feature a variety of vendors selling everything from local cheeses and grass-fed beef, to Texas olive oil and air roasted coffee beans. If you’re a foodie and a shopaholic, this is where you’ll want to be Saturday morning. You could save a lot of time scooping up a summer dress and some grilling accoutrements all in one pop.
