Ms. Monica Hillenbrand McGill of University Park is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Meghan Thérèse McGill, to Andrew David Boyett, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Lynch Boyett of Preston Hollow.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Highland Park High School and received her Bachelor of Arts in philosophy with a minor in fine arts photography from Boston College. She has recently been accepted to the Masters of Business Administration program at Southern Methodist University’s Edwin L. Cox School of Business. She is employed with CB Richard Ellis as a project analyst for Cisco System’s capital projects. She is a member of the Junior League of San Jose, Calif.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Highland Park High School. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in fine arts from Hampden-Sydney College in Hampden-Sydney, Va., where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society and the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He works at Yahoo! as a marketing programs manager and has recently been accepted to the Masters of Business Administration program at Southern Methodist University’s Edwin L. Cox School of Business. In the last two years, he has been training the couple’s Kerry Blue Terrier, Paddy Murphy, for obedience certifications including Canine Good Citizen, Emotional Support Animal, and Therapy Dog International.
The bride and groom currently reside in San Jose, Calif., where they enjoy hiking, wine tasting, and the beach at Carmel-by-the-Sea.
The wedding is planned for October 16, 2010, at The Adolphus. Dick Rice and Father Oliver Butler will officiate.
