Articles about Charles on the Golf Course

Where Should Charles Work? I Mean, Besides the Golf Course.

I was visiting with Charles and we’re thinking of blogging from behind the scenes at favorite local establishments. Do you think Bubba’s would let us run the drive thru for a couple of hours? Oooo, what about being the cashier at Kuby’s? I bet Chief Adams would say no to us answering 911.

Charles, I think you should work at Kid Biz and help rich tots pick out back to school clothes.

Charles Does the Pole

While I was watching Charles Geilich pole dance today I realized I needed to re-evaluate my life. Video is in editing, until then I happen to have a few pics. To the left you’ll see Charles getting his private demo from instructor Karyn Pentencost. Yep, that’s her name. Jump if you dare. (more…)

Charles on the Pole, the Final Countdown

Charles, I was just looking at the sched for tomorrow and got really excited when I saw this little appointment. Are you getting a wax today?

Local Author Turns Pole Dancer?

Charles has offered to do the pole dance, see comments. I know it’s for chicks but maybe they’ll let us bring a guy just once. The publicity from the photos of Geilich on the pole would be…wow! Maybe we could get Jason to take a spin too.

US Open? Not So Much

So, the golf tournament is called the US Open. But how open is it, really, if I wasn’t invited to play in it? Once again.  That’s Tiger, who was invited to play at the US Open.  The other photo is of me, not invited.

More Dangerous Golf

I played a golf course outside of LA a couple of days ago, in Simi Valley, that I’d played once before. The first time I played it, it looked uncannily familiar, even though I knew I’d never been there before. Finally it was pointed out to me that these hills were the site of much location filming, including the opening scene of the TV show M*A*S*H as well as countless Westerns. As one golfer was Overheard to say, “Every time I play golf out here, I expect to see the Sioux nation coming over the hills.”

Danger on the Golf Course

Imagine the concern a young fella like me had when I came upon this particular hole on the golf course today in that suburb of the PC known as Southern California.  img_0237.JPG

Golf is Good

Simply because I now have a specific tag for this post, I would like to share with you a photograph I took on the golf course yesterday img_0220.JPGof a doting mother duck and her cute little ducklings.  It has nothing to do with anything.
