The Richardson Pearce Lady Mustangs marched into Highland Park Fieldhouse on Tuesday night and handed No. 1 Highland Park volleyball team its first district loss, 25-18, 25-22, 22-25, 25-16.

The loss snapped a five-match winning streak by the Lady Scots (22-7, 1-1).

HP will get another shot at the Lady Mustangs (23-7, 2-0) Oct. 10 in Richardson.

Big Week in Store For Stafford, Bulldogs

Former Highland Park quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Georgia Bulldogs will get a major test on Saturday when they travel to the Valley of the Sun to take on Arizona State.

Georgia, which is ranked No. 3 in the nation, is coming off a 14-7 win in its conference opener against South Carolina. The Sun Devils (2-1) are coming off a 23-20 overtime loss to UNLV.

For the season, Stafford is 46-of-74 for 634 yards and four touchdowns. He has yet to throw an interception.

Park Cities Drive Up Dallas Home Prices

So says Forbes.com in their ranking of America’s most overpriced ZIP codes. No. 8 on the list is 75209, which includes the Dallas neighborhoods of Greenway Parks and Devonshire.

According to Forbes, Devonshire and Greenway Parks owe the Park Cities some love when it comes to their buoyed home prices:

The areas of Greenway Parks and Devonshire border University Park and Highland Park, two of the most upscale neighborhoods in the city. As prices in the Park Cities have risen, home buyers and builders looking for cheaper land have drifted into this ZIP code, helping drive prices.
