Here’s how the after school talk went down.

Merritt: What did you do at school today?

2nd Grade Daughter: We studied about suburbs.

Merritt: Oh. What did you learn about suburbs?

2nd Grade Daughter: We live in one. You get a pony if you’re rural.

If we live in a suburb what’s Frisco?

I always wonder that when the national news mentions one of the Park Cities as being “outside of Dallas”..what’s in Dallas? Downtown? Pleasant Grove?

Depends on what you mean by Dallas. Dallas County or the city Dallas. I always stuck with Dallas proper being anything inside 635/loop 12.
