Ever wondered where the delicious steaks at Al Biernat’s come from? I’ll tell you.
I saw the truck pull up to the restaurant as I pulled into Overheard HQ this morning.
The Chicago-based butcher has been in the business for more than 40 years, and is the exclusive provider of “Premium Gold Angus Beef.”
While Meats by Linz is the butcher of choice for Stephan Pyles, Tillman’s Roadhouse, Lola, and Nick and Sam’s, it doesn’t look like individuals can just call Linz up and order a couple steaks and have them delivered to their home.

Their menu says they serve Allen Brothers steaks…or at least it did two weeks ago.
And you can order on-line from Allen Brothers and have steak or lobster delivered to your home…allenbrothers.com
