So far today:

1. UPPD Chief Gary Adams had a root canal.
2. I received a delighful lunch invitation via e-mail from local real estate hottie Rogers Healy. He cc’d Oprah Winfrey, Tom Leppert and Jennifer Aniston. Very connected guy.
3. The rain caused a small leak through a vent over my coffee at Kuby’s.

First Lady Spotted At Stephan Pyles

Has anyone seen Laura Bush’s entourage around the Park Cities today?  She made a last minute reservation and dined at Stephan Pyles last night.  I’m wondering if she was back in town for another round of house hunting today.  Usually Candy Evans is first to share this news, but I have not seen anything today.  Overheardians, what is the word on the street?

On Retreat

Saddened by the loss of Glenn Arbery, the staff of People Newspapers is on a retreat today. Our offices are closed.
