Sources tell Merritt as much:
I just heard that Penne Pomodoro in Snider Plaza is doing a $700,000.00 remodel on their restaraunt. That’s a lot since they don’t own the building, eh?
Pomodoro is on my no-go list for a Merritt rule violation. Maybe I’ll give it another try after the redo.
Please, please give us a link to Merritt’s rule violation.
As you can tell by my screen name, I am an Anonymous Friend Of Merritt. While I cannot betray our trust by revealing her personal edition of “The Rules”, I CAN tell you that I was present for the aforementioned violation and that it involved a smallish cockroach (not in the food or on the table) and a manager who seemed a bit blase about the presence of the uninvited guest. That restaurant is now dead to her.
“That restaurant is now dead to her.”
As Merritt’s opinion’s are, to anyone with a brain. Jason, why do you have such a Heid-on for Merritt? The paper’s really gone downhill since you took over, and started promoting snark as content. I’m guessing you only care about circulation. So, bravo. But you cut the heart out of the paper, and fast.
AK, what a truly nasty thing to say, both Merritt Patterson and to Jason Heid. I think it’s strange that you have such contempt for them but yet delve deeply into this blog to read their postings. Maybe you’ve got too much time on your hands?
