This is Getting Ridiculous

So I merely wanted to run an errand this afternoon, but my car was on empty. Normally, I would’ve just pulled into the 7-Eleven on Knox, but we all know that’s not possible. Since I was already turning onto 75, I decided to use the gas station on University and Greenville. Guess what? Same story. Different station. I’m annoyed.

I know the feeling. The only close-in gas stations left are 7-Eleven on Fitzhugh and the expensive Chevron at 75 & Fitzhugh.

I read on the dallasmetropolis.com urban development forum that they are closing down. They’re just replacing the pumps. I’m too lazy to embed a link, so click on my name if you want to read it.

Sorry, meant to say they AREN’T closign down, just replacing pumps.

This sentence bothers me, “They are replacing the pumps and underground tanks which are leaking.”
But, hey, at least they’re fixing it! And, sadly, this may have just made my day. Thanks, UMAmes.

i am told the greeville/university station will reopen as a 7-11 with gas and beer. 7-11 has been looking for a site close to SMU to sell alcohol since they lost that privledge at the location on mockingbird.
