Yesterday afternoon as I was dragging my stuff out of the car in the blazing heat, tired from a long day, my daughter met me in the driveway and said, “Hey mom, I’ve been working on my Christams list.” She followed me to the door reading it our loud:
- Pink Apple laptop
- Jonas Brothers concert tickets
- My own room
- My allergies to go away

She has too much free time. Her summer should be scheduled to the max. No down time otherwise she will be behind the other kids when school starts nex month. You have failed. Where is your binder?

This is a great time of year for Christmas shopping, especially online. You can get some good deals on off-season merchandise (like Uggs) or just have your pick of items that will be harder to find closer to Christmas. My favorite websites are ebay, Amazon.com, Zappos.com & Overstock.com.
