Have you noticed that South Koreans have been rioting in their streets against the introduction of American-bred beef into their country? The Koreans are so convinced that our cows are tainted that it’s causing a political crisis there. This gives me pause about our beef, as well. What about you?
No pause here. It is trade protectionism, pure and simple.
Well, I just hosted and exchange student from Korea for the past 7 months. They eat dog. I would eat American beef with pride, and snuggle your pets a little tighter.
Ha! Combining trf’s and amanda’s comments leads one to believe that the Korean protest may have little to do with hygienic reasons.
I’d say North Korea is stirring up trouble in South Korea again.
