An Overheardian needs help finding the chick who smashed his car and fled the scene.
On Saturday, June 28th around 5:30pm my Toyota Land Cruiser was parked in front of my house, 7500 block of Colgate Avenue, when I heard a loud thud and a car alarm sound. By the time I got outside several of my neighbors were gathered around my vehicle. Someone in a blue Jeep Grand Cherokee had hit my car knocked it 10 to 15ft.backward and over the curb. Instead of doing the right thing and stopping, they sped off. A jogger passing by got the type and color of the vehicle as well as a description of the person driving (young white female) but no plate numbers. However, one important piece of information was written on the back windshield; “SKA” [this stands for Seniors Kick Ass]. Those letters identify the vehicle as likely belonging to an upcoming senior at HP high school.
As of today, no parent has come to me with their daughter to admit guilt and apologize. This is what bothers me the most.
Good luck finding them because its not happening.
Every senior’s car says ska on it.
And most of the girls have Lexus SUV’s
If that’s the case then it should be easy to find her since it was a blue Jeep Grand Cherokee. She will be found.
I suspect the parents will come around only when you identify them. They will then offer hush money.
Call Chief Adams. I’m sure there’s a way to run the blue cherokee thing and then seek out the damage to the car once they know who it is registered to.
When I first read the headline, I thought it might be about senior citizens. I have encountered at least three in the last few weeks that should probably not be driving. Today at Smith Park I observed a car speeding around the corner, tires squealing. I was surprised to see the driver was a white-haired man and not a teenager.
“And most of the girls have Lexus SUV’s.”
I guess you missed the part about the vehicle being a blue Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Rumor is that suspect has been identified and she lives near where the car was hit. Parents have been hiding the vehicle. Not good news for the young lady and her parents. Police and insurance company now pursuing.
