Re: Mad at the Bible Belt

My apologies to the Overheardian who sent me a photo of someone she said may be the same person that our staffer blogged about yesterday. Due to deadline concerns, I’ve had to delay posting the photo at left.

The same Overheardian commented on the earlier post. I take no responsibility for any of her comments.

UPDATE, 3:06 p.m.: Our staffer has confirmed that the woman pictured here is the same woman she bought turkey sliders for in Preston Center yesterday.

    Scam. Don’t kid yourself.

Wow! From the other post, I was picturing the sixty year old, over weight, bag lady type. I never imagined the stereotypical meth addicted hooker look.

I’ve seen this woman for at least two years now hanging around Preston Center and other locales near there. I’m not sure what her story is, but I feel certain of two things: it’s not the story she gives, and the truth is at least as tragic as what she says it is.

    What’s a turkey slider? I’m serious.

turkey slider: a little breakfast treat. a peice of sausage turkey on a small biscuit at Javalato.

they come in many other forms as well; egg, with turkey, bacon with turkey, etc.

try one, I thought it was quite good and will be back. let me know what you think.
