Powder Puff Football, Ladies Are You In?
So I got this link from Parkie Erin Finegold to the Blondes vs. Brunettes event, a powder puff football fundraiser benefiting the Greater Dallas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. It’s charity and all but I’m thinking the cool part is the possibilty of forming a team that could really kick some butt. Kersten, Krista, Tierney, we could bring Kristiana back from downstairs, Hutson might even return to Dallas for this. I say we get Charles to coach. Ladies…it could be fun. Or are you scared?

I would very much like to coach this team, although I can foresee a problem with players switching hair colors, and, thus, teams, willy-nilly. Still, I’m in, and I’ll even get a whistle.
But Merritt, what about your fingernails?? You always told your dad you were not born to sweat!!
I have quite the arm. I did come from OU, ya know. I say we do it.
Notre Dame interhall flag football was intense, but a ton of fun. Merritt - if you tape your nails, you’ll be fine. Plus you’ll look tough as players taped broken fingers…Let me know if you need a tight end/line backer!

Thanks, Miles. I expect that we’ll have a few troublemakers on our team, the Pac Man Jones types, and I’ll need your help with them. I also intend to study the league rules carefully so as to exploit them in every legal way. That was the key to success on my law school intramural team.
Ah oh, I just discovered I’ll be out of town for a week then, returning on the date of the game. Merritt, you’re good at this, see if you can get the date changed, even to the next day, a Sunday. I’ll make sure we raise more money if you can do it.

Registration is due on June 22 and we have a kick-off party @ Christie’s Sports Bar sponsored by Miller on June 28th… so of course there will be drink specials and the Miller girls (that’s important to say when you want your guy friends to be there…).
What I’ve learned from my college Powder Puff days is that being scrappy is just as good as being able to catch, although I can catch too.
I’m only interested if this is a tackle game, no flag football for the PCP powder puffs.
Can we get a plastic surgeon to sponsor us in case something bad happens on the field?

Somebody needs to let the person know that designed that Beautiful link that it is gramatically incorrect to use “first” and “annual” to reference an event. It can’t be the first annual event if it not yet an annual event. IJS
