Black Wearing Columnist Thing
This just in. What’s the deal with all of the references to wearing black all the time like I’m goth or Gene Simmons or something?
…and you actually hang out at Kuby’s (or at least this morning someone who bears a striking similarity to your photo, wears black, and sits at the end of the bar at Kuby’s typing on a laptop exists)… every once in a while it seems that you’re just too good to be true. Anyway, you left before I could come over and tell you how much I enjoy your column and your posts on Overheard… keep up the great work.
I think I really like this guy.

Why are you always at Kuby’s?
Lots of people have favorite neighborhood spots.
More to the point of the post, it is not that she was at Kuby’s, but that she was wearing black. As the author of the above email and thus observer of the choice in wardrobe, I would like to clarify that it was neither goth nor Gene Simmons-esque… far from it. I say embrace it… there’s nothing wrong with having a signature color (or a signature hang out place for that matter)
