Run For Ryan a Success

Photographer Chris McGathey ran out to the McCulloch Intermediate School track today to capture the scene (see above, Ryan is second from left) at Run for Ryan. The weather had cleared up by then, and Chris said the place was crowded with kids and parents running or walking 20 laps on the track, eating snow cones, and just flat-out having fun. A representative from the National Kidney Foundation of North Texas was also on hand.

Rumor is, Fox 4 health reporter John Hammarley has a report tentatively scheduled to air at 5:45 p.m. during the 5 p.m. news show. This morning, Channel 8’s Good Morning Texas show did a lengthy live shot from the school, including an interview with Ryan and his family. To view the footage, click here. Channel 8 is planning to air the story during its 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. newscast, and Channel 11 aired a live shot from MIS at 4 p.m.
