NTTA to Shut Down Portions of Tollway for Construction

As part of the North Texas Tollway Authority’s major renovation project at the south end of the Dallas North Tollway, there will be a need to close various entrance and exit ramps, and lanes of traffic on Tuesday, May 13, Wednesday, May 14 and Thursday, May 15 during nighttime hours only. During this time, crews will be switching traffic lanes as new ramps and lanes are now ready for use.

Southbound right lane from Lemmon Avenue to Maple Avenue will be closed from 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13 through 5 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14. The southbound Wycliff Avenue exit ramp and the southbound Lemmon Avenue entrance ramp will also be closed during this time.

Various lanes southbound from Mockingbird Lane to Maple Avenue will be closed from 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14 through 5 a.m. on Thursday, May 15. The southbound Wycliff Avenue exit ramp and the southbound Lemmon Avenue entrance ramp will also be closed during this time. From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., the northbound left lane from Maple Avenue to Mockingbird Lane will be closed.

From 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 15 through 5 a.m. on Friday, May 16, various lanes northbound from Maple Avenue to Mockingbird Lane will be closed. The northbound Wycliff Avenue entrance ramp and the southbound left lane from Lemmon Avenue to Maple Avenue will also be closed during this time.

All work is subject to weather condition and will be postponed, if necessary.
