Kuby’s Standoff Threatens Balance of Power

The delicate peace forged between the German 80-somethings and the Voladads in the Kuby’s dining room has been threatened by an outsider. Merritt Patterson reports:

 Ok, this is getting more interesting now. The volamom husbands are sitting at the table that the German 80-somethings sit at every Tuesday (see column Aug 3 2006). But the voladads are so in to Stevens that they aren’t budging. So the Germans are freaked out.

People, I tell you this- a camera crew may be necessary. Stevens has no idea what sort of a standoff is going on just so the voladads don’t have to end their time with Stevens. This is the funniest damn thing that’s happened in recent Parkie history (other than that Erika Nazem thing). The Germans are coming undone!
