Lovers Lane between Thackery and Preston has been shut down for hours. Police are cheerfully directing traffic around a mysterious situation. Here’s the official report from Chief Gary Adams:

Natural gas line ruptured.  Gas crew trying to dig down to cap it.
Don’t want anything to go boom.

Love Lost

Twas dark and cloudy in your state capital today.  I was reminded of previous posts that noted the lack of a Starbucks at Love Field.  What kind of a major airport has two McDonalds and no Starbucks?  As Merritt commented, it’s a bit Third World.
