His Is Risen

img_6372.jpgI just realized that it’s almost Easter so I better start using the cups that I was given last year around this time. I mean how often can you use such a thing?

His what is Risen? Isn’t it supposed to be HE Is Risen?

Also, hate to mention this but styrofoam is really bad for the environment.

    But it floats on water.

Someone gave me styro cups that say “Desperate Housewife,” which I am neither desperate nor a housewife. Maybe we should take up a collection of styro cups and we can make up a story based on all of the “clever” sayings on these cups.

Does anyone have styro cups with clever sayings on them they could donate to this literacy project?

No, but I write important phone numbers on them for safe keeping.

Merritt, get your dad a blackberry for Father’s Day :-)

  • Merritt Patterson

Yes- it should say “He is Risen.” It’s a typo on a cup.

Oh and Sandy, my dad’s image would be ruined with a Blackberry. He is famous for writing notes in bizarre places- important ones. One day in junior high I came home from school and found a note on a donut box near the phone that said, “Aunt Charlotte- stroke.” True story.

I thought a blackberry was a breakfast fruit to put on cereal.

I also thought his is risen referred to a guy with a social problem.

his is risen … you know, Merritt, if you have enough of those cups leftover, I’m thinking retirement community and little blu…*cough* family blog, right?
