Eighties Throwdown Coming in June

OK, thirty and fortysomethings.

One of those 1980s nostalgia tours is rolling through Dallas on June 22. Cyndi Lauper, The B-52s, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and K.D. Lang will be on the same bill at the Superpages.com Center (formerly Smirnoff Music Centre, formerly Coca-Cola Starplex).

Sounds like a fun show. I’ve never seen any of these bands live, but I’ve heard both Cyndi and Joan put on very solid shows. Might be worth checking out.

And for the younger demographic, Dave Matthews Band is making its annual summer trek. Dave and the boys will be at Superpages.com Center Aug. 16.
