Of course, after what the owners of the home wrotelast week, I’m not surprised.
I should note, of course, that (despite my misleading headline) they are Republicans.

With apologies to Merritt since it is Friday:
An Emperor who cares too much about clothes hires two swindlers who promise him the finest suit of clothes from the most beautiful cloth. This cloth, they tell him, is invisible to anyone who was either stupid or not fit for his position. The Emperor is nervous about not being able to see the cloth himself so he sends his ministers and other opinion leaders in his kingdom to view it. They see nothing yet praise the cloth. When the swindlers report a suit of clothes has been fashioned, the Emperor allows himself to be dressed in their creation for a procession through town. During the course of the procession the Emperor is hailed as being handsome in his new suit by almost the entire crowd…except one small child who cries out, “But he has no clothes on!” The crowd realizes the child is telling the truth and begins laughing. The Emperor, however, continues the procession. Feigning ignorance the Emperor chides the child, “I am leading movement so the barrenness of my attire doesn’t matter”
Sorry Mr. Anderson, that last part was mine.

There’s an Obama sign where Dartmouth runs into St. Johns.

uh . . . okay . . . . and . . . brace yourselves — there is an Obama sign at the corner of Armstrong and Abbott. So . . . so . . . so . . . what? Is there someone I should call to report this heresy, assuming, of course, that I can self-appoint myself as the judge of heretics??
If we reach a point in this election where Obama finds it necessary to campaign nakedly, I promise you that I will take a stand and duly report him to the authorities. But until then . . . what up?

There’s also a house on Mockingbird, between Hillcrest and Airline, that has probably about 4 signs up, along with a huge sign on their fence, which says HOPE, and some other stuff about Obama

So what, who cares? Everyone has a right to support the candidate of their choice. So many people around here make issues of such petty things. I’m glad to see signs supporting various candidates throughout the community.
