Related to the above post, yet unrelated…the term “Parklebrity” has been haunting me for some time. Something about it is not quite right. Is it supposed to be pronounced “Park-el-E-brity”, because if so, it is spelled way wrong! If it is indeed supposed to be pronounced phonetically, then it would be “Parkel-brity”, which has no chachet and hardly belongs in the Urban Dictionary as an example of clever Parkie vernacular. Inquiring minds want to know. Tell the chief I think it’s great he has a Harley (and the time to have coffee with you, in between arresting criminals defacing stone porch dogs, LOL), but I need to know what the deal is with this word, right now.
Park-lebrity. Ce-lebrity. Get it?
MK, it’s spelled like it sounds. You’re over thinking it. And it totally belongs on Urban Dictionary. Overruled.
