A Little Bit o’ Glam

The Dallas Museum of Art League held a first glimpse cocktail party last night at The Stoneleigh Hotel. With an air of excitement, I walked up to the front and upon entering the lobby, I was immediately greeted by Elvis and a glass of champagne. (more…)

Frontburner = Breaking News

Unless you consider this, this, or this, or one of the other times Frontburner has looked right over us you wouldn’t realize that this is a semi-regular deal.

In fact, we give credit to Frontburner for things that we printed months before their post appeared. If Frontburner beat us to it, we say it. Really

Lake Highlands Flasher Caught

Just got this message from a reader. It’s a bit outside the Bubble, but just in case any of you happen to go up there to Abrams and Royal.

Since January 7th of this year there has been a flasher targeting women in their place of business. He hit 3 different businesses in the Town Creek center from the 7th to the 24th. One of the employees at the Artistik Edge decided to do a little “stalking” herself. She notified the police everytime she saw him for those 3 weeks but by the time they got here he would be gone. Finally, her tenacity paid off. On Thursday the 24th the flasher was back. He hit Remax, returning to the scene that evening, Melissa notified the officer on duty at the salon and he was arrested on the spot. Good work Melissa!!! Goodness prevails!!!
