Or at least the “Friends of Armstrong” should stay in their homes and quit calling every media outlet in the city to come do a report on their street. They don’t seem all that concerned about the excess traffic! They are creating much of it! It seems instead of wasting resources on creating a media storm they could be forming parent volunteer groups to walk the children safely to and from the school, hiring extra crossing guards, etc. Take a cue from University Park Elementary as these are the ways in which they dealt with the construction on Lovers Lane where children walk to and from school every day. Or take a cue from Bradfield Elementary as they are dealing with the Mockingbird construction now.
