Distinguished Statesman is Featured Speaker at
University of Dallas Event for Students and Faculty and Public Lecture
WHAT: Mikhail Gorbachev, former president of the Soviet Union and Nobel Peace Prize-winning statesman, will speak at a student/faculty event and a public lecture as part of the University of Dallas’ 32nd Annual Eugene McDermott Lectureship.
The first event, for University of Dallas students and faculty, will be held on campus and will feature a short lecture and extended Q&A session with students. The second event, a public lecture and Q&A session, will be held at the Belo Mansion in Dallas.
PUBLIC Monday, October 8, 2007 – 7:00 p.m.

Restrictions
Television/Radio: Broadcast media may tape and rebroadcast any portion of the presentation, but must have written permission in advance to tape
and rebroadcast the presentation in its entirety. Additional
instructions will be provided after permission has been granted.
Print: No flash photography is allowed under any circumstance. Photographers may take photos of Mr. Gorbachev during the first ten minutes of the program only, and must be taken from the back of the room.
Interviews
Mr. Gorbachev will not grant personal interviews with the media.
