Couple Makes Beautiful Music Together

Highland Park Presbyterian Church is hosting a concert Sunday featuring husband-and-wife duo Elizabeth and Raymond Chenault. All you organ fans, get excited. At 7 p.m., the event kicks off the Highlander Concert Series’ 32nd season.

The Chenaults audience-friendly program will feature a sampling of the 40 plus works composed especially for them during the past 25 years.  The program will include original pieces by some of the finest contemporary American and British composers, settings of hymns and folk tunes such as For All the Saints, Londonderry Air and Shenandoah, and an audience favorite, Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever.  Their dazzling skill and deft technique on Highland Park’s Casavant Organ will leave you spellbound – you will never see four hands and four feet work as hard!
