Football in the Groin
Anyone know whose film beat out Hans Moleman’s masterpiece to win the first Springfield Film Festival on The Simpsons?
Well, to paraphrase Homer Simpson, who cast the deciding vote: My post today about the National Merit Semifinalists had heart, but “Football in the Groin” has football in the groin.

Barney Gumble’s masterpiece won the first annual Springfield Film Festival. I don’t remember the title of his movie. The last scene ended with this poignant line:
BARNEY
Don’t cry for me, I’m already dead.
FADE OUT
Whew… Better him than me (guy on the left).
I have to back up Jeremy though… He didn’t fall to the ground crying in agony…
