Ladies, gather ’round the computer screen and let’s have a little talk. See, the thing is, sure, we all want to be pretty– I get that. But, ladies, we need to look at the bigger picture. Like, oh, I dunno, the fact that one-third of all Dallas children live in poverty, something like that. Anyhoo, I say this because Forbes has an enlightening article on the world’s most expensive handbags and we all know that we know a lady or two living in the Park Cities who has spent a pretty penny (maybe even 17,000 and above pennies) on a purse. (One woman I know has at least 10 ostrich Birkins.)

Ladies: The purse cannot go with you to heaven. And it can’t slow down time to ward off heaven. Oh, and the starving kids? Not sure if they even believe in heaven right about now.  Just a thought.
