VNA - WHEELS FOR MEALS AND MORE

Perhaps you have heard of a brand new event called Wheels for Meals and More.  The VNA (Visiting Nurse Association) in its 73 year history has never had a special event.  What an ingenious idea to create something based on what they already do.  Surely you have heard of their Meals on Wheels program where volunteers drive daily routes to deliver a hot meal to those in need.  Did you know that the VNA also provides hospice and home health care to those in need?

On March 25, Marianne and Roger Staubach (who are the most genuine, delightful people I have ever worked with) will chair this inaugural event.  Marianne is a dedicated Wheels on Meals volunteer (she drives her route every Thursday) and a VNA board member. I am grateful that the VNA secured me to consult on this one of a kind event.   Bank of America stepped up to the plate early on as presenting sponsor and the event is being held in The Park Place Porsche garage.  Shout out to Gillian Breidenbach and Christy Coltrin for all of their help!  Can I tell you that you could eat off the garage floor over there!  Bonus – TI and Hall of Fame Racing are also sponsors of this event so there is a huge NASCAR  influence and car #96 will be on-site.  The seated dinner event will feature a small live auction including box seating at the upcoming Texas Motor Speedway race.  Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!
